Shade Tee Prototype Complete - Product to be Generally Available February 18th, 2019

After 2 years of development and refinement, Anderson Golf is pleased to announce that the Shade Tee golf sun shade design is complete and will become generally available on February 18th, 2019. From the beginning of the design to the end, we have had several design challenges that we have overcome in order to make the Shade Tee a top quality, reliable product. First and foremost, we have accomplished the primary goal of produciing an effective 72" inch diameter personal sun shade for golfers, that is lightweight & compact. The Shade Tee weights 4.8 pounds and collapses to 45" total length when not in use making it 1 inch shorter than the standard driver and practical to store in a golf bag. The canopy and canopy frame have been vented, strengthened and optimized to provide stability in wind, achieving a maximum wind rating of 20 MPH. The twist locking, three piece telescopic pole enables the canopy to reach a maximum height of almost 10 feet. The pole is constructed from a lightweight aerospace grade aluminum making it as strong as steel and very durable, yet as light as aluminum. The three pronged hardened steel stake safely secures the shade tee into the hardest of ground. We have also added a smartly designed concrete base and tri-pod support that can be used to support the Shade Tee on brick or concrete based surfaces such artificial turf surfaces. We are very exciting about the Shade Tee golf sun shade and feel our customers feel it was worth the wait when they experience the benefits of this quality product.
